Empowering People with Vision Loss to Live Their Most Independent and Impactful Lives

Empower Vision Services addresses the critical gap in comprehensive training and support for blind and low vision individuals, who face unemployment rates over 54% due to inadequate adaptive training and workplace accessibility barriers.

Unlike other agencies restricted by staffing shortages and limited service offerings, we provide extensive in-home and community-based instruction including vision rehabilitation therapy, orientation and mobility training, benefits advisement, job coaching, braille instruction, and accessibility consulting. Our competitive advantage is our comprehensive service model and personalized approach, allowing clients to maintain independence, retain employment, or gain skills to re-enter the workforce.

While primarily serving clients through state vocational rehabilitation funding, we also uniquely offer private pay options for individuals with progressive vision loss who don't yet qualify for state services, those needing supplemental training beyond what was provided elsewhere, and families/caregivers seeking adjustment counseling and support strategies.
