Case Rose is an 8-year-old boy who was recently diagnosed with a rare brain cancer called Diffuse Midline Glioma (DMG). This rare and aggressive brain cancer affects children between the ages of 5 and 10 and is inoperable due to its location. Chemo is also not an option. Sadly, Case has been given six months to live.
Case loves school, his family and friends, his two cats, his dog, his self defense class, playing games, the outdoors, traveling, arts and crafts and life. He wakes up with a smile and is happy and excited for the day, every day.
According to his teachers, if they could have every kid in their class be just as helpful and positive as Case is, their days would be perfect. Case says he wants to be a father someday and have lots of kids.
Case is the nephew of our friends at Niagara Downunder who work with Sweet Buffalo regularly to bring smiles to children battling illness. Now they need our help in bringing Case a smile.
